A new dimension in trade development

The World Trade Center Metro Manila

World Trade Center Metro Manila started operations in January 1990, linking the Philippines for the first time to a global network that provides businessmen with services and facilities needed to make the conduct of international trade easier, faster and cheaper.

World Trade Center Metro Manila is a member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) in New York City which has around 100 World Trade Centers operating in almost 100 countries.

It is a private corporation owned by the Manila Exposition Complex and managed by the World Trade Center Management, Inc. World Trade Center Metro Manila belongs to the ICCP_Group_of Companies (headed by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Guillermo D. Luchangco).

Through the WTCA, each World Trade Center becomes a branch office for all the others. This unique concept of reciprocity is passed along to all the business establishments affiliated with World Trade Centers, making membership in any center an entry to the international business community.

The Manila World Trade Center Club is an integral part of the World Trade Center Metro Manila, The Club integrates all the services and facilities of the WTCMM into a package available to members. Through the Club, a member enjoys reciprocal benefits and services with the other World Trade Centers.

Club services provide you the business edge to keep abreast of a constantly developing mix of products, services, information, technology and other global mechanism that otherwise would not be readily available to non-members.

Here are the services that are offered to companies seeking to expand international markets:

.... Trade Information & Market Research

WTC's provide up-to-date information about their respective regions, including local products and services, market conditions, government regulations and business culture. WTC's furnish detailed profiles of local business contacts, including manufacturers, distributors and service providers. They can also perform market research tailored to specific needs.

WTCA OnLine .....

The WTCA's internet website (http://www.wtca.org) is a one-stop trade information hub for posting and reviewing trade opportunities, and communicating easily with newly found business prospects. Its strength comes from the combined power of nearly 300 WTCs producing trade leads and other vital information.

.... Business Services

WTC's offer state of the art support facilities. This includes internet access, word processing and more. Flexible arrangements for hotel accommodations, temporary office space, meeting rooms, secretarial services and translation capabilities are also available.

Trade Education Services.....
There are also regular speaker programs on timely topics chosen by WTCs. WTCs offer practical international trade courses about key local and global business issues. Interactive discussions about international topics are offered through a series of seminars and workshops.

.... Group Trade Missions

Group trade missions help businesses to explore new markets by working together with World Trade Centers to promote their products and services.

This includes taking part in outbound missions and receiving incoming business delegation.

Supported by highly professional staff and geared to take advantage of the prime location that a WTC provides. World Trade Centers take a leading role in hosting trade-oriented events and other special events.

In the Philippines, World Trade Center Metro Manila is the first world-class exhibition center which was inaugurated on November 1996. The impressive structure is situated at the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue Extension cor. Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, looming over a total area of five hectares. The first of two exhibition halls cover a total floor space of 8,300 square meters and provides specialized exhibit needs such as electricity, phone lines and water.

WTCMM Lobby

Set to be added to the complex in the near future is another exhibition hall, a high-rise office/commercial building, as well as a hotel. It will house the offices and club facilities such as restaurants, lounges and other amenities.
